Minister of State in the President's Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, Ridhiwani Kikwete, has officially launched six applied research projects aimed at positioning the Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC) as a leading center of knowledge and scientific evidence for strengthening public service delivery.
Speaking during the climax of the College's 25th anniversary celebrations, Minister Kikwete said the Government is committed to promoting research that provides practical solutions to real challenges facing public institutions across the country.
"We need research that supports informed policy decisions, improves institutional systems, and enhances the efficiency of public service delivery to citizens," Kikwete said.
He commended all researchers involved in the projects and urged TPSC to strengthen collaboration with government ministries, independent departments, executive agencies, local government authorities, universities, and other institutions to ensure its research generates meaningful contributions to national development.
Kikwete further expressed confidence that the next 25 years will mark an even greater chapter for the College, with TPSC expected to play a leading role in human capital development, applied research, and professional advisory services to enhance public service performance and accelerate the implementation of Tanzania's Development Vision 2050.
